Heart Christian Academy strives to provide opportunities during our campus days that move beyond just academics.
Monthly Chapel
Each campus gathers monthly to kick off the day with prayer, musical worship, and a short message from scripture, typically based on that month's theme verse. Chapel is also where our classroom teachers honor students with Character Awards based on their growth in a variety of areas. Campuses with older grades often provide opportunities for students to lead portions of chapel.
Parents and families are always encouraged to take part in this monthly time of fellowship.

Classroom Celebrations
Students celebrate the holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter with parent-organized parties in their classrooms. Families also enjoy special days to honor moms and dads, and students enjoy fun-filled themed-dress days throughout the year. Themes might include 50’s Day, Crazy Hair/Socks Day, Sports Day, etc.
Yearbook
Each campus offers an annual yearbook toward the end of the academic year that highlights Heart campus life and events. It also includes individual student and class pictures, similar to the traditional yearbook experience.
Field Trips
Local field trips are available to Heart students and their families, usually reflecting or enhancing our Literature, History, and Science studies or simply designed to build community. All field trips are organized by parent volunteers and are optional, but add an enriching element to the homeschool experience.
