About Heart Christian Academy
Heart Christian Academy currently serves families across the country, with campuses in California, Oregon, and Tennessee.
Heart is planting JK-8th grade level campuses in new areas, opening our doors in Idaho for Fall 2023. Additionally, we are expanding to new locations within the states we currently serve. Our purpose is to guide and support parents in their journey to educate and grow their children in the Lord. Heart offers a successful Christ-centered homeschool model and community that produces well-educated young people who are equipped to be used by God. Our unique program provides parents with tools and guidance to teach their children and train them to take increasing responsibility over their academic progress. As a private, membership-based organization we are able to outline the beliefs that define our culture and ask that our members agree with them as well. Before requesting enrollment with Heart Christian Academy, we ask that you carefully review our beliefs to ensure you can confidently agree that they also reflect the beliefs of your family. We understand that these beliefs are increasingly uncommon in American culture, so if they do not align with those of your family, please take advantage of one of the many other wonderful homeschool programs available in the area. Belief StatementWe believe there is only one God who eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. Man is sinful and therefore separated from God, who alone is holy and perfect. Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin through His death on the cross. Jesus also bodily resurrected, ascended into heaven and will return one day to establish His Kingdom. Our salvation from eternal separation from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ and His provision of salvation. This salvation allows us to enter into God's family and receive eternal life. The Bible, comprised of the Old and New Testaments alone, is the inerrant and authoritative Word of God and is the supreme source of truth for the Christian faith and life.
Vision StatementHeart Christian Academy is striving to be the leading home schooling institution in the communities we serve, producing professional and spiritual leaders for the world in which we live.
Mission StatementOur mission is to build an educational system which fosters both spiritual growth and academic excellence. We desire to come alongside parents in their effort to disciple and educate their children at home. Our parents and staff work together to choose a distinctive curriculum, rich in both Christian worldview and solid scholastic emphasis. We hope to inspire students to become godly leaders in their home, church, community and workplace.
Who We AreOur parents are dedicated followers of Jesus who are called to homeschooling. They are active in the Heart community through the use of their gifts, passions and experience to enhance the success of the program, and they submit to Heart guidelines and leadership.
Our students are respectful and godly and committed to developing their gifts. They appreciate and embrace the responsibilities associated with homeschooling and are cooperative, cohesive and supportive. Our mentor teachers are Christ-centered, passionate educators who help foster a love for learning in our children. They dynamically apply curriculum to bring subjects to life and inspire our children to strive for excellence and become self-governing individuals. Our curriculum is academically challenging, supportive of a biblical worldview, and yet flexible enough to allow for a multi-track system. It strives to encourage and foster a love for learning and to maximize individual student growth from year to year. We expect all parents, children, mentor teachers and staff to commit to a cooperative community in which each party fulfills their roles as defined in our Parent & Student Handbook. Heart Christian Academy reserves the right to deny or withdraw membership of any student or family in order to maintain our cooperative culture. Vertical Divider
