From Vance Boulanger, about his daughter Grace:
“Dear Heart,

This week I was telling yet another person how well-prepared by attendance at Heart Grace was for the public school work load.  She is adjusting to a large school, doing the AP classwork for freshmen (world history and literature) and is getting A's in those classes and has been on the water polo team since August. The workload Grace had at Heart in 7th and 8th grade was more demanding than what she is doing so far in 9th grade and that is really paying off for her-and Christine and I. Because of the detailed, demanding work she did while a student at Heart and the individual attention she and all of her classmates received from dedicated, caring teachers, Grace is achieving almost all A's (one B) so far at SCHS. 

My point is to say a big 'thank you' to you and the whole staff at Heart for doing such a tremendous job of preparing our children for doing great work, being stand-out students and emerging leaders. 

Sorry it took me so long to get this note to you and all the teachers at Heart. Thank you for teaching school from a God-centric point of view and training our children to think on their own. Our whole experience at Heart continues to be a blessing in our life.

And speaking of focusing on Jesus, Grace dedicated her life to the Lord this past summer and was baptized in August! Praise God!”
