At Heart Christian Academy, we believe our most important role as parents is to disciple our children in the love and knowledge of God through our Savior Jesus Christ.  To that end, families who enroll in our Academy are asked to sign the following Statement of Faith:

Statement of Faith

We believe that...
  • There is only one God who eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit.
  • Man is sinful and therefore separated from God who alone is holy and perfect.
  • Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sin through His death on the cross.
  • Jesus also bodily resurrected, ascended into heaven and will return one day to establish His Kingdom.
  • Our salvation from eternal punishment comes through faith in Jesus Christ and His provision of salvation.
  • This salvation allows us to enter into God's family and receive eternal life.
  • The Bible is the inerrant and authoritative Word of God.
  • The Bible is the supreme source of truth for the Christian faith and life.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to build a system which fosters both spiritual growth and academic excellence. We desire to come alongside parents in their effort educate their children at home. Our parents and staff work together to choose a distinctive curriculum, rich in both Christian worldview and solid scholastic emphasis. We hope to inspire students to become Godly leaders in their home, church, community and work place.

Our Pledge

We will lead by example, demonstrating the love of Jesus, the wisdom of Solomon, and the patience of Job. We will help our students develop Godly character as well as academic competency.

Classes Offered

Currently, Heart Academy serves students in Junior Kindergarten through 8th grade in our Two Day program. Additionally, we offer a wide variety of services for Kindergarten through High School students in our Home School Program (HSP).

Student Records

All student attendance, grades and records are managed by Heart Christian Academy in accordance with state requirements. Heart Academy administers SAT testing to students in 1st through 8th grade.

Field Trips, Electives & Events

A wide variety of monthly field trips are available to Heart students and their families, usually reflecting or enhancing our History and Science studies. All field trips are optional but add an enriching element to the home school experience.

Electives are offered weekly and change from year to year.  PE, gymnastics, music, art, drama and cooking are examples of these popular classes. 

Theme Dress Days, Holiday Plays, History Day, and our Talent Show are just a few of the special events scheduled throughout the year.

Missions Emphasis

The parents and students of HEART are proud to support the Friedberg family, spreading the gospel in Cambodia! 

Through different events during the year, our children learn the value of missions and of prayerfully supporting those on-mission overseas.
Examples of hands-on events supporting missions around the world include, but are not limited to:

Operation Christmas Child:
HEART Students are encouraged to donate a shoebox during the month of November, to be sent by Samaritan's Purse to children overseas who have never received a Christmas gift nor heard the gospel.
In early December, older HEART Students are given the opportunity to prepare donated shoeboxes for shipment at the local Operation Christmas Child warehouse.
Kids Around the World:
This December, HEART Christian Academy students and families partnered with Kids Around the World at our campus to hand-package 8,000 servings of food for delivery to impoverished children in Haiti.
